FC Barcelona have joined the race for Dinamo Zagreb starlet Ante Coric, according to Catalan daily Sport.
The Catalans were able to win the chase for former Dinamo wonderkid Alen Halilovic and they could again be doing business with the Croatian giants.
Namely, Sport has learned that Barcelona are among clubs keeping close tabs on Ante Coric, a central midfielder who is predicted a bright future in the game.
It is believed that FC Porto lead the chase for the 18-year-old footballer, with Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan keen as well.
Barcelona aim to launch an assault on Coric in the near future and add him to their B side, just like they did with Halilovic.
And after his older compatriot started proving his worth while on loan with Sporting Gijon, Coric could soon complete a big club move and continue his development in one of Europe’s top competitions.
