Blaszczykowski set for permanent Fiorentina stay

Serie A leaders Fiorentina are seriously considering turning Jaukb Blaszczykowski’s loan move into permanent deal, Tuttosport can reveal.

The Polish winger arrived at Artemio Franchi on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day after struggling for playing time at Borussia Dortmund.

The 29-year-old has since managed to kick-start his career in Italy, with both coach Paulo Sousa and Viola faithful impressed with his recent performances.

As a result, Fiorentina are interested in making his stay permanent and it is believed that the buy-out clause stands at €6 million.

Following seven very successful years at Signal-Iduna Park, Blaszczykowski found his first team chances limited at the end of last season and the beginning of this one, and he in turn decided to leave Dortmund in search of first team football.

He has since helped Fiorentina climb to the Serie A summit, with Viola now 4/1 to defeat Napoli on the road and stay top of the league.
