Borini set to leave Chelsea

Chelsea forward Fabio Borini’s agent has revealed that his client is closing in on a move to Italian side Parma.

The striker’s agent, Marco Antonio De Marchi, claims they are in advanced talks with Parma.

“The transfer isn’t official just yet, but I can confirm that we’re in adavanced talks with the Gialloblu. There has also been interest from Roma and Lazio in the past couple of months, but Parma were the most concrete,” said De Marchi to Radio Mana Mana.

“Despite Carlo Ancelotti’s insistence to sign a new deal with Chelsea, we were unable to reach an agreement about a contract extension. Fabio then decided to consider his options and started looking for a new club.

“Fabio needs to play at a club where he feels at home and where he gets the chance to flourish. A club with a plan for the future and Parma appears to be the perfect club for him at the moment.”
