Bundesliga giants battle for Germany’s fastest player

Borussia Dortmund and Borussia M’gladbach are locked in the battle for Augsburg winger Andre Hahn, according to Bild.

The 23-year-old, who is officially the league’s fastest player, has been in scintillating form this season and his impressive displays did not go unnoticed.

Bild has suggested that Borussia Dortmund and Borussia M’gladbach are readying summer bids for his services.

Hahn has a contract until June 2016 at Augsburg, but a clause in his deal allows him to leave the club for mere €2.25 million, so everything suggests he will quit SGL Arena at the end of the current campaign.

The talented footballer needed some time to adapt to the Bundesliga having joined from third division side Kickers Offenbach in January 2013, but he has exploded onto the big stage this term.

Hahn scored impressive 9 goals in 20 league outings, while contributing another 3 assists for his teammates, missing just one league match through suspension.
