Carvalho to fight for Liverpool future

According to Football Insider, Fabio Carvalho has no intention of leaving Liverpool this summer and is determined to fight for his future at Anfield, despite the wish of Hull City, where the attacking midfielder is currently playing on loan, to make the transfer permanent.

Carvalho has obviously managed to put the unsuccessful spell at RB Leipzig in the first half of the season behind him and has been doing well at Hull, scoring eight goals in 17 Championship matches since his move to the MKM Stadium in January. He’s due to return to Anfield at the end of the season, where his contract has three years left to run.

Liverpool will be going through significant changes this summer, most notably the one in the dugout as manager Jurgen Klopp prepares to leave the club. There will presumably be changes in the playing squad as well, and Carvalho, who turns 22 in August, obviously hopes he can stake his claim for a more important role than before.
