Crystal Palace 17/10 to beat Cardiff in Saturday’s Premier League clash

Competition: Premier League

Market: Crystal Palace win

Odds: 17/10 @ Bet 365

With the chance to relegate Cardiff back down to the Championship, Roy Hodgson’s side will travel to South Wales on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, after suffering a 1-0 loss away at an already relegated Fulham last weekend, it almost seems like mission impossible for Neil Warnock’s side. Chasing a four-point deficit to Brighton in the race for top-flight survival, a huge part of the Bluebirds’ struggles this season has been their continued form in the final third. Failing to find the net in their last two matchups against Fulham and Liverpool, Cardiff have failed to find the net in four of their last five appearances and still hold the second worst attacking record in the Premier League. Even more worrying for Warnock, his side have also lost four of their last five matches in South Wales.

As for the visitors, while Cardiff might be struggling with their form at the back end of the season, the same cannot be said for Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace side. Picking up a point against Everton last weekend, another win for the Londoners would see them leapfrog West Ham to 11th. A huge part of the Eagles’ form this year has been their continued performances away from Selhurst Park. The former England boss has seen his side win four of their last five Premier League matches on their travels, including a 3-2 win away at Arsenal last month. It is also worth noting that defeats away at Liverpool and Tottenham are their only losses on the road since the start of December.
