European giants battle for Bernd Leno

Portuguese newspaper A Bola understands that a host of Europe’s top clubs are keeping close tabs on Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the most talented shot-stoppers in Europe and it appears it is only a matter of time before he leaves die Werkself for greener pastures.

According to A Bola, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus are all keen, with at least one of the interested sides likely to make a move next summer.

Leno has a contract until June 2017 at Bay Arena and is valued at €20 million, which is well within the price range of said clubs.

The talented footballer joined Bayer Leverkusen from Stuttgart in January 2012 and has since made a total of 86 Bundesliga appearances for the club.

Die Werkself face Wolfsburg away later today in an attempt to make amends for the 4-0 Champions League defeat to PSG, and they are 9/5 to claim maximum points.
