Fiorentina to launch legal action against Mutu

Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle revealed the club will take a legal action against Adrian Mutu.

The Romanian has been dropped from the first team squad for leaving a training session and Fiorentina chairman says the club plan a legal action against the forward.

“Mutu did a very serious thing, while his agent Giovanni Becali said horrible and false things.”

“We will take action to protect the interests of the club in every court. We were offended and so were our directors, so at this point it’s down to the lawyers to discuss it.

“It is tough to talk about this now. At this moment the player is off the market and frozen out of the squad, as you cannot just walk out of a training session and get away with it.”

This means Mutu will not be available for sale despite heavy interest from a number of Serie A sides.
