Hull eyeing Bolton’s Lee

Daily Mirror has learned that Hull City are hoping to sign Korean winger Chung-Yong Lee from Bolton Wanderers.

The same source has suggested the Tigers boss Steve Bruce decided to make a move on the 25-year-old after receiving glowing reports from his scouting team.

He has since established initial contact with the Reebok Stadium outfit and is expected to complete the signing in the summer transfer window.

Lee, who has a contract until June 2015 at Bolton, was valued at £6 million in January, but his price is likely to decrease as he nears the end of his deal.

The South Korea international joined the Trotters from Seoul in the summer of 2009 and has since featured in 137 league matches for the club and scored 12 goals in total.

His suitors Hull City currently sit four points above the Premier League relegation zone, but they are 8/1 to suffer relegation.
