Arne Slot has undoubtedly lost the support of many Liverpool fans, and there have been loud calls to sack the Dutchman and give the job to Chelsea-linked Xabi Alonso.

Slot is, however, confident about being in the Anfield dugout at the start of the 2026-27 season.
