Ibe completes Birmingham switch

Birmingham City have signed Liverpool winger Jordan Ibe on loan for the rest of the season, according to Sky Sports.

The eighteen year old was signed by the Reds in December 2011 after being scouted whilst playing for the Wycombe Wanderers, and made his first team debut at the back end of last season.

He started the 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers on the last day of the campaign, though he has made just two appearances under Brendan Rodgers this season.

The England U19 international joins a Blues side who currently sit in eighteenth place in the second tier, nine points above the relegation zone.

He trained with his new teammates for the first time on Friday, and could make his debut in Saturday afternoon’s trip to Blackpool.

Lee Clark’s men, who can leapfrog their opponents if they take all three points at the weekend, are priced at 5/2 to emerge from Bloomfield Road victorious.
