Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Lazio are on the verge of signing Fabio Quagliarella from Juventus.
The Biancocelesti hope to sign the forward on loan with an option to buy, whereas their league rivals are holding out for an outright transfer.
Lazio will offer Quagliarella a three-year deal worth €1.5 million per campaign, but it remains to be seen whether they can reach an agreement with the player’s employers.
Juventus reportedly value the experienced striker at €7 million, as his contract in Turin does not expire until June 2015.
