Liverpool open to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain exit

Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to The Sunday World. The former Arsenal star is named among a number of players that the defending Premier League champions are open to cashing in on.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Arsenal. The England international midfielder has had injury problems during his time at Anfield so far and is essentially a squad player.

According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old has made two starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League and has played 19 minutes in the Champions League for Liverpool so far this season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the England international made 17 starts in the league and three starts in the Champions League, according to WhoScored.
