Man United offered chance to sign PSG striker

These are some interesting days at Manchester United. Whilst most fans and media are still sweating over a move for Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, another potential deal is being talked about. This one is not as realistic as that chase for Fernandes’ signature, but could hold some truth to it.

According to Manchester Evening News, Man United have been offered the chance to sign Edinson Cavani on a free transfer! The Uruguayan goalscorer has been linked with numerous clubs recently, as he is in his final six months of the contract he has with Paris Saint-Germain. Atletico Madrid seemed to be close to signing him and PSG are reluctant to offer a new contract to a soon-to-be 33-year-old striker.

That is why Cavani could be available as a free agent this summer and Man United could have a tough task of saying to no to such a prolific goalscorer.
