Manchester United eyeing Leeds United’s Taylor

Manchester United could be set to make a move for Leeds United full-back Charlie Taylor, according to the Express.

The Premier League giants lost their first choice left-back Luke Shaw on Tuesday evening, after the England international suffered a double leg break in the Champions League Group B opener defeat to PSV Eindhoven.

Shaw had played every minute of United’s games both in the league and Europe prior to the injury, but now looks set to miss the majority of the rest of this campaign.

Taylor has made just thirty-five appearances for Leeds since turning professional, scoring two goals, though he has had loan spells with Bradford City, York City, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and most recently Fleetwood Town, who he helped to promotion to League One in 2014.

Next up for the Red Devils is Sunday afternoon’s trip to Southampton, and the away win can be backed at a price of 11/8.
