Manchester United join race for League Two hotshot

The Daily Star understands that Manchester United have entered the race to sign highly rated Newport County teenager Aaron Collins.

The eighteen year old broke into the Newport first team last season, and made his first league appearance back in April.

He has featured in all ten of his sides league games so far this season, scoring his first professional goal in the 2-2 draw with Stevenage back in August while he also netted in last month’s Football League Trophy tie against Swindon Town.

Internationally, he won his first cap for Wales’ U19s against Germany back in April.

The Red Devils are one of a number of top flight outfits considering a move for Collins, with Newcastle United another of the sides said to be interested.

Louis van Gaal’s side have won their last four games in succession and are priced at 14/5 to win at Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
