Mitrović in demand

According to Sportski Žurnal, a sports outlet in his native Serbia, Aleksandar Mitrović will be the object of a race between several Premier League clubs this summer.

With Fulham’s relegation mathematically confirmed following their defeat at the hands of Watford on Tuesday, clubs remaining in the top flight have already started eyeing potentially useful players from their ranks. Mitrović is certainly one of those players, having scored 10 league goals for the Cottagers this season.

The report names the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Leicester City and Southampton as the sides interested in the striker. There is also interest coming from China, with Guangzhou Evergrande apparently keeping an eye out as well.

Meanwhile, Leicester Mercury also believe that Mitrović would have a role to play at the King Power stadium next season, as they expect Islam Slimani to be sold and Shinji Okazaki to leave following the expiration of his current contract at the end of June.
