Mourinho lines up move for world-class striker

Jose Mourinho is set to enter the market in the search for a new striker and he has singled out Edin Dzeko as the number one target in January.

Following the humiliating defeat to Barcelona and Gonzalo Higuain’s injury, Jose Mourinho is desperate to sign a world-class striker in January and he seems to have found his man.

The Portuguese coach sees Edin Dzeko as the perfect answer to team’s attacking worries as the Bosnian has proved his worth at the biggest stage, and Mourinho believes the striker will be able to slot right into the starting line-up at Santiago Bernabeu.

The player himself is fed up with being denied transfer by Wolfsburg and he could work his way out of the club in January, although los Merengues will have to pay close to €30 million for his services.

Dzeko hinted last week that he could be leaving Germany in January, and it now looks as though his next destination will be Santiago Bernabeu.
