Real Madrid keen on Milan starlet

Real Madrid are showing interest in AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio, Spanish newspaper AS has revealed.

Carlo Ancelotti is well aware of the youngster’s qualities as he continues to monitor everything that happens at his former club.

And having been impressed by the 21-year-old footballer, the Italian manager has instructed Real Madrid chiefs to try and lure the player to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.

That is likely to prove a very difficult task as the Rossoneri value De Sciglio highly and it would clearly take a huge offer to make them change their minds in the summer.

Mattia De Sciglio has already shown a great deal of potential, although numerous injuries seem to have hindered his progress.

The player, who can successfully operate on either side of defence, has so far made 41 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, while also earning no less than 8 Italy caps.
