Rennes have dismissed head coach Habib Beye following a poor run of form in Ligue 1.
The club currently sits sixth in the French top-flight, but have endured a four-match winless streak, losing each of the last three, including a 3-1 defeat to Lens last time out.
In all competitions, Rennes have lost their last four matches, enduring their second-longest drought since the start of the 2023-24 season (five in January 2025 before the arrival of Beye).
Rennes have dropped 13 points in a winning position in Ligue 1 this season, the joint-highest tally in the competition along with Strasbourg, while they have conceded 34 league goals, their most after 21 top-flight matches since 1997-98 (35).
