Ronaldo hints at return to Old Trafford

Real forward Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that he could return to Old Trafford one day.

The Portuguese star admits he misses the Premier League and that he owes a lot to Sir Alex Ferguson.

“To be honest I miss the Premier League a lot. Of course I have good memories about Manchester. I have good friends there and I miss them a lot, so you never know.

“Sir Alex Ferguson is like a second father for me. He helped me a lot during the six years I was in Manchester, he taught me many things.”

Ronaldo, nonetheless, says he is perfectly happy in Madrid.

“I’m playing well because I’m in a good moment, because Jose is here, because I am a father now,” said Ronaldo. “Everything has worked together so I want to carry on like this until the end of the season.

“It’s fantastic to work with Jose. He is an experienced manager. The titles he has won speak for themselves. He doesn’t do anything special, he is a discipline coach and he pays attention to all the details. It’s amazing, I’m very much enjoying working with him.”

@Brad…I’d love to see him return but it wouldn’t be the same…he’s lost that Man U glow now…he’s hardened up now…his situation at Man U was better than perfect (if that’s possible) b/c he had the perfect group of guys around him that were youthful, cocky, daring, full of flair and all embarking on their Manchester dreams…for any player, that was a perfect environment to win and flourish in…it makes me sad just thinking about what could have been…it was a perfect plot to a perfect story to a perfect career…but he switched out for I don’t know what…ah well – i’m glad, that in my lifetime, I was blessed to see it all unfold before me…
