Rubin Kazan are practically certain of winning the Russian championship following a 3-0 victory over Krylya Sovetov.

Krylya, who are battling for a UEFA Cup berth themselves, just couldn’t compete with the qualities Rubin Kazan have been showing this season.

Ansaldi put the league leaders ahead after 34 minutes and Bukharov doubled the gap right after the break.

A third goal was added by Noboa in the 66th minute, ending any remaining hope the away side might have had left.

Rubin have a ten points lead over CSKA Moskva, who could reduce the deficit to seven when they visit local rivals Dinamo on Monday.
