Tunnicliffe set to be axed by Fulham

Fulham midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe has been told that he can leave the club by new manager Felix Magath less than four weeks after signing from Manchester United, according to the Express.

The 21 year old was signed by former coach Rene Meulensteen on transfer deadline day, with the pair having previously worked together at Old Trafford but Magath has already decided that he will not be part of his first team plans, as he aims to retain the Cottagers top flight status.

Tunnicliffe, who had loan spells with a number of Championship sides prior to his switch to Craven Cottage, started both of Meulensteen’s final two league games in charge of the club.

However, having failed to impress his new boss in training he was left out of the match-day squad for Saturday’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion, has been told that he can leave on loan with a view to a permanent move away from the club.
