Valencia eye shock Lawrence move

La Liga side Valenica are eyeing a shock move for former Manchester United youngster Tom Lawrence, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-one year old, who is set to make his first international start for Wales on Friday evening, is currently on loan at Blackburn Rovers from Leicester City – who he signed for last summer.

He has made twelve appearances for Rovers so far this season, scoring twice and his form led to Wales boss Chris Coleman handing him his senior international debut in last month’s Euro 2016 qualifying victory over Andorra, where he came on as a second half substitute.

Valencia assistant manager Phil Neville knows Lawrence well having been a coach at Old Trafford when the midfielder made his one and only appearances for United in a 3-1 win over Hull City towards the end of the 2013/14 campaign.

The Netherlands are the visitors to the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, and Lawrence can be backed at 15/4 to score at any time.
