Arsenal forward Robin van Persie has been declared fit in time to make an appearance in Holland’s World Cup qualifier with Norway on Wednesday.

A late test pointed out that the influential Van Persie has fully recovered from his hamstring injury.

Van Persie himself left the final decision to Netherlands manager Bert van Marwijk: “I am available, and now we have to wait and see whether the coach needs me.”

The Dutch began their World Cup qualification campaign with two consecutive wins, and already have a comfortable lead in their group.
