AS Roma in fresh assault on Justin Kluivert

Italian giants AS Roma have opened another round of talks with Ajax as they hope to conclude a deal for winger Justin Kluivert.

The talented youngster has announced his decision to leave one year before his contract is due to expire and the Giallorossi have since positioned themselves as favourites for his signature.

After their initial €10 million bid was rejected, AS Roma have returned to the negotiating table and they hope to reach an agreement with Ajax in the coming days.

The player himself hopes everything will be wrapped up soon, which is why he returned to Amsterdam after his vacation in Ibiza.

Justin Kluivert, 19, enjoyed a fine campaign with Ajax last term, having managed 10 goals and 5 assists in 30 Eredivisie outings.
