Atletico Madrid ‘tired’ of Diego Costa

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Atletico Madrid are said to be tired of Diego Costa’s behaviour and are more than willing to sell the forward during the summer transfer window. Costa was sent off due to an explosive rant during the club’s game against Barcelona recently, with Diego Simeone reportedly deciding that his time at the club should now be over. The 30 year old has had an uneven run since making the switch over to Madrid, and this seems to be the final straw before he officially leaves the club.

Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata are both starting to click as a unit for Atletico now, which is why many consider Costa to be surplus to requirements.

Either way it seems like the summer is going to be a hectic period for the Spaniard who, not so long ago, was widely considered to be one of the most entertaining and exciting forwards in European football.
