Inter missed the chance to move within a point of sealing the Scudetto, after they were pegged back to a 2-2 draw by Torino.
The Serie A champions-elect surrendered a 2-0 lead in Turin, where the hosts struck twice in the final 20 minutes to snatch a share of the spoils.
Inter broke the deadlock midway through the first half, with Federico Dimarco’s inviting cross thumped home by the head of Marcus Thuram.
Dimarco almost made it 2-0 just after half-time, drawing a superb save from Alberto Paleari. However, the wing-back was the visitors’ provider again as they doubled their lead in the 61st minute, with his centre headed in by Yann Bisseck.
Torino responded well, though, and halved their deficit on 70 minutes when Emirhan Ilkhan slipped in Giovanni Simeone, who neatly lifted over Yann Sommer and into the net.
The hosts then dragged themselves back onto level terms nine minutes later with Nikola Vlasic firing home from the penalty spot, after Carlos Augusto was penalised for handball following a VAR review in the 79th minute.
Inter thought they had regained their lead in the 83rd minute through Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but the Nerazzurri had to settle for a point after Thuram was ruled offside in the build-up.
16 – Federico #Dimarco has provided 16 assists in this league season, equaling Alejandro Gómez (16 in 2019-20) as the highest assistman in a single #SerieA campaign since this data has been available (since 2004-05). Creative.#TorinoInter pic.twitter.com/06qNwL9eKQ

Data Debrief: Dimarco writes his name into record books
After setting up both of Inter’s goals, Dimarco took his tally of assists for the Serie A season to 17. It is the outright most in a single campaign since at least 2004-05, taking him past Alejandro Gomez (16 in 2019-20).
Thuram, meanwhile, scored his seventh goal against Torino in the Italian top-flight, extending his record tally against a single opponent.
It ultimately proved academic, though, as the hosts fought back to deny them a fourth straight league win.
Simeone began the fightback with his 10th goal of the campaign; the Argentine has reached double figures for the first time since 2021-22 with Hellas Verona (17), while he has now netted in each of his last four home appearances.
