Eric Dier ready to leave Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Eric Dier from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Bundesliga champions Bayern are planning a bid for Dier in the middle of the season, and that the England international defender himself is keen on a move to the Allianz Arena.

Dier is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of the season. The Englishman, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, is struggling for playing time at Spurs at the moment and is unlikely to become a regular in the first team anytime soon.

Tottenham are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 12 matches, two points behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City. Meanwhile, Bayern currently find themselves second in the Bundesliga table with 29 points from 11 matches, two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
