Good to hear that Ramsey is close to first team comeback

Young Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey made his comeback from injury with a 45 minute run-out for the Gunners reserves last night.

The talented youngster was injured in February in Arsenal’s trip to Stoke City.

Fitness

The Welsh star is hoping to build up his fitness in the next couple of weeks in a bid to return to the Gunners first team squad.

Ramsey told Arsenal TV: “I have been waiting for this a long time, and I couldn’t wait to get out onto the pitch,”

“Obviously it is great to be back playing my first game and I felt it went quite well.

“I was blowing a bit after about 20 minutes, so I have got some work to do in that department, but I feel very good about myself.”

Horror

The injury he sustained at Stoke was a bit of a horror injury. The player who committed the foul Ryan Shawcross was vilified and the tackle was analysed over and over again.

There was even talk about the 19 year-olds career being on the line after the injury but he has worked hard and will hopefully reap the rewards for that hard work in the next few weeks. He has shown tremendous character to comeback from such a serious injury.

Talent

Hopefully now that he has put the injury firmly behind him he can get back to playing regular first team football for Arsenal, because he is without doubt one of the most talented up and coming British youngsters. He has the potential to be amongst the top Premier League players in years to come.

Mentor

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been criticised for not winning trophies but what he is good at is developing players. Young players are brought up at Arsenal to play the right way and Ramsey will benefit from that way of play.

Ramsey is a very good technical footballer and I’m sure at Arsenal he will become a top class player, courtesy of Wenger and his coaching teams coaching methods. From all reports Ramsey is a lad prepared to listen to advice and that attitude will help him make it to the top of the footballing tree.

Wales

Ramsey’s national team Wales are in real need of some inspiration and Ramsey will be key to their success in the coming years. The 19 year-old and Gareth Bale are the two great hopes of Welsh football and with good reason.

Wales have struggled to qualify for major tournaments and the pair are seen as the next wave of talented young Welsh players coming through. According to Brian Flynn the future is bright with a host youngsters coming through. You can guarantee that Ramsey will be the fulcrum of the Welsh side for the foreseeable future.

First Team

When he is fully fit he will be hoping to make it back into the starting eleven. He faces a fight as Arsenal has lots of talented players in his position. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger rates the young Welshman highly and I know it won’t take him long to become crucial for the Gunners.

Can Aaron Ramsey recapture his best form on his comeback from injury?
