Liverpool linked with Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu

Liverpool are interested in signing Patrick Dorgu from Lecce, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the former Liverpool and Premier League champions have long been looking at Dorgu and remain keen on the 18-year-old left-back.

Dorgu is one of the best young left-backs in Europe and is hugely promising. The youngster has done well for Lecce’s Under-18 side and is now part of the Italian club’s senior side. The Danish left-back has made two starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Lecce so far this season.

Liverpool are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 16 points from six matches, two points behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City. Meanwhile, Lecce currently find themselves sixth in the Serie A standings with 11 points from six matches, four points behind Inter Milan and AC Milan, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
