Manchester City plan bid for Castello Lukeba

Manchester City are interested in signing Castello Lukeba from RB Leipzig, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that City, who won the Premier League title last season, are planning a move for Lukeba in the upcoming windows.

Football Transfers has noted that City central defender John Stones has had injury problems in recent times, and that the Citizens are looking for a potential players to replace the England international in the long run. Lukeba is 21 years of age now and plays as a centre-back. The France international has been on the books of RB Leipzig since the summer of 2023.

Lukeba has made seven appearances in the Bundesliga and has played three times in the UEFA Champions League for Leipzig so far this season. He scored one goal in 24 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and played seven times in the UEFA Champions League in the 2023-24 campaign.
