Rice is one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and has been superb for West Ham over the years. The Hammers are struggling in the Premier League and could get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. Rice is 23 now and is at the right age to take the next step in his career and move to a bigger and more ambitious club.
Arsenal are as many as seven points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and could win the title this season.
