Inter reach Marcus Thuram agreement

According to multiple sources, Inter Milan have reached a full agreement with Marcus Thuram about acquiring his services on a free transfer when his contract at Borussia Monchengladbach expires at the end of the month.

The 25-year-old attacker, one of the sons of former France defender Lilian Thuram, will be earning around €6-6.5 million per season while wearing the Nerazzurri shirt.

Born in Parma, Italy, where his father made a name for himself in the Serie A, Thuram rose through the youth ranks of FC Sochaux, spending two years with their first-team squad before he moved to Guingamp. Another two years later, Gladbach came knocking and paid €9 million to take him to Germany. Over the four seasons gone since, Thuram scored 44 goals and produced 29 assists in 134 matches for Die Fohlen.

Thuram arrives to Inter to replace veteran Edin Dzeko, who has left to join Turkish side Fenerbahce.
