Arsenal secure Saka future with new contract agreement

According to David Ornstein, Bukayo Saka has agreed to a new five-year contract with Arsenal, extending his stay at the club until the summer of 2031. The England international was previously under contract until 2027, but fresh terms have now been finalized to secure his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium.

Saka, 24, has been a key figure for Arsenal since making his debut in 2018. A product of the Hale End academy, he joined the club at the age of seven and has developed into one of the Premier League’s standout players. The new deal reflects his growing influence and status as one of Europe’s top talents.

In recent seasons, Saka has played a key role in Arsenal’s title challenges. He scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions during the 2023–24 campaign, following 15 goals and 11 assists the previous season. Despite a hamstring injury in December that disrupted last season, his contributions remain vital for both club and country, with expectations high ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The agreement comes after Arsenal secured extensions for William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Liverpool were credited with interest in Saka back in his teenage days, and Real Madrid have been mentioned during the last couple of summers, but it seems he will remain in North London for the foreseeable future.
